Wrath of Lich King Release

Much like how Fallout 3 had midnight launch events this week, Blizzard is planning to have some special events of their own before the release of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. The expansion pack to the 11 million subscriber MMO title will ship out on Nov. 13 but the night before will feature Blizzard team members and execs at several retailers in the US.

Those folks will be found the night before at the Best Buy in New York City, Fry's Electronics in Anaheim, California, and Gamestop locations in Austin, Texas and San Francisco, California. They will sign copies of the game (including the Collectors Edition which those locations will have a lot more of) for the people attending those events. In addition similar events will be held in Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Taipei, and Seoul and thousands of stores will be open at midnight to begin selling Wrath of the Lich King.
